Paul Public Schools' Nutrition Services regarding menu

Breakfast and lunch monies are to be prepaid for the upcoming week or more. You
may send money or checks in an envelope marked with the child's name
and pin #. Make checks payable to: Saint Paul Public Schools' Nutrition
Services; OR
You can make online meal account payments. Please visit www.paypams.com to
set up an account or make a payment. You will
need your child's 6 digit student ID number, which you can get
from the district's Parent Portal website at www.spps.org/parents.
Funds still require 2 days for processing before your
child’s account is credited with the money. Please take this into
consideration when prepaying for meals.

How do I find out how much money is in my child's account?
If you pay online at www.paypams.com you can check the student balances there. OR
Log on to the district's site at www.spps.org/parents and click on Parent Portal* OR
Can students receive extras if they are still hungry? Students
are able to purchase a second breakfast or lunch. Elementary students are able to purchase a second breakfast for $1.20
and a second lunch for $2.00. Secondary students are able to purchase a
second breakfast for $1.30 and a second lunch for $2.30. The higher meal price
is because we receive Federal and State reimbursements for the first
meal only. The cafeterias also have a "seconds" table where students
can put any unopened, wrapped item that they are not able to eat. Any
student who is still hungry can choose items from the "seconds" table.
Are students able to purchase extra items? The high schools offer an a la carte line where they sell a variety of
food items from beverages to snacks. The middle schools offer a more
limited a la carte line. In the elementary schools, students may
purchase any item that is on the menu for that day. Price lists are
posted in the cafeterias.
