The cafeteria staff at
Roosevelt Elementary knows how to have fun when they aren’t working. They love
bingo, walking, dancing and spending time with their families. The group even goes
out to play bingo together—and sometimes they win! They know how to have fun at
work, too. They bring treats every Friday and play “secret pal” twice a year. They
love the hours, the teamwork in the kitchen and the children of Roosevelt
Elementary.
The staff has over 25 years
of combined service and serves about 845 meals every day. The staff loves
Cheesebread, Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese, Italian Dunkers, Taco Salad and Yogurt
Parfait. The Roosevelt students’ favorite lunches include Cheesebread, Hot Dogs
and Pizza.
When asked what is special
about her staff, Cafeteria Supervisor Debbie Shepherd says that her staff works
very well together, shares lots of laughs, and likes to keep a sparkling clean
cafeteria.
