Cafeteria Supervisor Bev Moulin knew her staff was dedicated to doing a good job, but she was still surprised the day she found a co-worker in the oven. The employee couldn’t reach the back corners to clean the oven to her satisfaction so she climbed inside. Bev is quick to stress that “the ovens were cold and the employee weighed less than an oven full of meat sauce, but we still had a discussion about safety and alternatives following this discovery!”

Climbing into an oven is just one way this staff goes the extra mile to serve the students of Webster. They use their combined total of 44 years experience to serve over a thousand meals a day. Cheesebread is a student favorite at breakfast and Chicken Patty Sandwiches, Hamburgers and Pizza top the list of favorite lunches.

The staff loves working at Webster because they enjoy being around the kids. They also appreciate the school staff and consider them an extension of their close kitchen family. According to Bev, “Webster wouldn’t be Webster without the community spirit that exists here.”

Outside of work the staff likes spending time with family, boating, gardening and reading.
